Time and place: on 09/25/2016 (Sunday) Vitosha, Boyana to Aleko hut

Organizers: “Vitosha Ski” AD, Marathon Association

Eligibility for participation: Unlimited, for physically and mentally healthy people, who follow the markings and abide the Traffic laws.

Distance racing categories:

16 km:

Men – women

M / F (born 1996-2001).

M / F40 (born 1967-1976g.)

M50 (born before 1967).

3 km:

M / F14 (born after 2001).

Program:

8:15-9:15 am. receiving the racing numbers for the 16 km distance at the start in Boyana. Start numbers of underage participants will be received only with an accompanying parent or guardian;

10:00h. Start 16 km, Boyansko hanche. Coordinates 42 ° 38’47.52 “23 ° 16’0.57” And;

11:00 – 11:30h. Receiving start numbers for the 3 km distance at Aleko hut with an accompanying parent or guardian.

12: 00h. Start of the 3 km, Aleko hut;

13: 00h. Prize giving to the winners Aleko without waiting for all graduates.

Route 16 km: Boyansko hanche -Bialata voda (White waters)- Zlatni mostove (Golden bridges)-Bor hut-The Plateau (Platoto)-Goli vrah (Naked peak)-Aleko hut. Record of the track: Men 01:16:33 – Paul Koech, Women 01:34:03 – Milica Mircheva.

Route 3 km: Aleko hut-The Plateau (Platoto)-Naked peak (Goli vrah) -Aleko hut

The organizers reserve the right to change the route if necessary.

Marking: Polyethylene strip.

Control time: Control post Bor hut is open up to 13: 00h. The final is open until 14: 00h.

Control and refreshment points: Dendrarium (6.2 km, 1230 m NV), Bor hut (10.3 km, 1500 m NV) equipped with granola bars and water; at the final + bananas.

Ranking 16 km: Individual in order of finish. In the ranking for men and women also participate all other categories from the same gender.

Ranking 3 km: Up to third place, separately for boys and girls.

16 km Awards: Medals for the winners in the different age groups. Cups for the winners in men and women. A draw for a SUUNTO wathc and over 60 other prizes for all participants that finished. Material and cash prizes as follows:

Men and women:

1st place – 1000lv. and a smart bracelet

2d place – 500 BGN

3d place – BGN 300

4th place – 200 BGN

5th place – 150 BGN

6th place – 100 BGN

All other categories:

1st place – 50 BGN. and a smart bracelet

2d place – 150 BGN.

3d place- 100 BGN.

For a new record of the track there will be an additional material prize from the sponsors.

Prizes for 3 km:
The first three boys and girls will receive material prizes and medals and all who finished successfully – a gift.

Everyone who successfully completed the track in one of the two distances will receive a souvenir T-shirt.

Entry fees: Starting fee for 16 km – 5 BGN. for entrants till 23: 59h. on 09.22.2016, the fee can be paid by card, online, by bank transfer, the cash desks of Easypay or registration in Sofia. After the deadline the fee is 10BGN. 3km participation is free of charge.

Additional information: There is transportation for the luggage of  the participants of 16km from Boyansko hanche to Aleko hut. There is free transport for participants organized by lift from Aleko to Simeonovo after the final. As a ticket participants should use their starting number (we will allow one attendant for participants of 3km for free).
