Date and place: June 21 2015, Bansko.

Organizers: Bansko Municipality, Marathon Association.

Disciplines: Mountain running race 13km. Mountain biking race 27km. Mountain duathlon 30km.

Racing categories: Men, Women, Junior men and women up to 20, Masters 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70.

Track: Start: Hotel Kempinski Grand Arena (995 m alt.); Finish 1 Cycling, interchange – Vihren hut (1950 m alt.) Finish 2 Running and Duathlon – Vihren peak (2914 m alt.) Terrain: Macadam, asphalt, trail.

Refreshment stations: Running – 1. Banderishka polyana (6.3 km, 1600 m alt.), 2. Vihren Hut (10km, 1950 m alt.), 3. Vihren Peak; Cycling – 1. DKP (14 km, 1200 m alt.), 2. Vihren Hut.

19:00 Technical meeting and registration at Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena *****;

20:00 Pasta Party at Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena ***** (Free for registered participants, 15BGN for their guests);

After the party – a free drink for participants in BASECAMP bar, Bansko.

June 21

8:45-9:30 Registration at the start area;

10:00 Start – simultaneous for all participants;

14:30 Finish closed.

Entries: HERE. For duathlon, please enter as BIKER. Participants already entered for running may start in duathlon instead.

Starting fee: 20BGN when entered by June 19. Without entry 25BGN. Due at registration in Bansko. Discounts for multiple entries for different races.

Eligibility: Unlimited for physically and mentally healthy people 15 to 75 YO. Participants are required to follow the marking, to observe the road traffic rules and regulations before, during and after the race. All expenses are on the account of the participants.

Rankings and Awards: Individual, in order of finish, separately for runners and cyclists. Cup for winners, medals, prizes provided by sponsors, including weekends in Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena and St. George Palace Hotel, vouchers for Sport Box shop, diplomas and others. Prize-giving will be performed periodically at Vihren hut in order of arrival of the winners from the peak without waiting for all graduates.

Accommodation: Guest House “Irina Nikulchina” – 15 BGN per night per person in double room, breakfast 5lv;

Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena ***** – 55EUR for single or double room with breakfast, free use of gym, 2 saunas (Finnish Sauna Sauna & Bio) and 2 types of bath (Hammam and aroma steam bath), indoor pool, heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and a unique snow room in Kempinski The Spa, Free Wi-Fi internet, VAT.

Saint George Palace ****, 30 BGN per person in a studio for two per night with breakfast included. For Single use 45 BGN. Includes spa – pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna and gym, Wi-Fi internet, parking.

Additional information: Luggage transportation is provided for participants from Bansko /start area/ to Vihren hut. At 13:00 h starts transportation of finishers from Vihren hut to Kempinski Spa Hotel in Bansko. Vans with Pirin Run mark shall leave when full. The last van will leave to Bansko with the referees, returning from Vihren peak /final area/.
