Date and place: June 25 2017, Bansko.

Organizers: Bansko Municipality, Marathon Association.

Disciplines: Mountain running race 13km. Mountain biking race 26km. Mountain duathlon 29km.

Racing categories: Men, Women, Junior men and women up to 20, Masters 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70.

Track: Start: Hotel Kempinski Grand Arena (995 m alt.); Finish 1 Cycling, interchange – Vihren hut (1950 m alt.) Finish 2 Running and Duathlon – Vihren peak (2914 m alt.) Terrain: Macadam, asphalt, trail. Duathlets should coplete the biking track first, then follow last 3km of the running track.

Refreshment stations: Running – 1. Banderishka polyana (6.3 km, 1600 m alt.), 2. Vihren Hut (10km, 1950 m alt.), 3. Vihren Peak; Cycling – 1. DKP (14 km, 1200 m alt.), 2. Vihren Hut.

19:00-20:00 Registration in Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena *****;

20:00-21:30 Pasta party in La Veranda Bar & Lounge (free for registered participants, 10 BGN for their guests);

June 25

8:45-9:30 Registration at the start area;

10:00 Start – simultaneous for all participants;

14:30 Finish closed.

Starting fee: 25BGN when entered by June 23. Without entry 30BGN. Payment can be done online, via Easypay network, or upon registration in Bansko. Discounts for multiple entries for Five Mountains chain of events. T-shurt gift for payment done untill 15 June.

Eligibility: Unlimited for physically and mentally healthy people 15 to 75 YO. Participants are required to follow the marking, to observe the road traffic rules and regulations before, during and after the race. All expenses are on the account of the participants.

Rankings and Awards: Individual, in finishing order, separately for runners and cyclists. Cups for winners, medals, material prizes. Prize-giving will be performed periodically at Vihren hut in order of arrival of the winners from the peak without waiting for all graduates.

Additional information: Luggage transportation is provided for participants from Bansko /start area/ to Vihren hut. At 13:00 h starts transportation of finishers from Vihren hut to Kempinski Spa Hotel in Bansko. Vans with Pirin Run mark shall leave when full. The last van will leave to Bansko with the referees, returning from Vihren peak /finish area/.
